Under Tennessee Code 39-14-105 the penalty for being convicted of theft of property or services (such as leaving a restaurant without paying the bill) depends on the value of the property or service.
Theft of property or services is:

(5) A Class B felony if the value of the property or services obtained is sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) or more. A Class B felony is punishable by imprisonment of not less than 8 and not more than 30 years and a fine of up to $25,000.
